Who We Are
Mountain Home Cemetery is on of the oldest cemeteries in the area, dating in the 1860's per many grave markers, with others undated.
The cemetery is maintained via community volunteers, and various individuals elected to operational positions that help maintain the cemetery and the sanctuary.
Our Story
We Always Need More Help!
Volunteers are always needed to help at the property. We welcome volunteers to assist in the various planned activities to clear the flowers from the ground for grounds maintenance, and also to help with repairs and maintenance of the sanctuary.
This website is hosted by the Heirs of Mountain Home, an Alabama nonprofit corporation with a purpose to operate for the betterment & care of Mountain Home Baptist Church Cemetery, engaging the community near & far, to preserve its history & beauty.
