PERPETUAL CARE FUND

Mountain Home Cemetery has a perpetual care fund which will eventually take care of all maintenance requirements.

Each year on Decoration Day, volunteers are located outside the church to take donations for immediate maintenance and for the perpetual care fund.

Contributions for the perpetual care fund, or the general operating fund are accepted at any time through the year. If you wish to make a donation, please mail to the following:

RULES AND REGULATIONS

The following are the rules and regulations of Mountain Home Cemetery. These have been voted on through the years by those in attendance at the annual business meeting. [The annual meeting is held on the Sunday before the national Memorial Day Holiday at 10:30am CDT].

Decoration and Memorial Service is always on the Sunday preceding the National Memorial Day Holiday on Monday.

Where is Mountain Home Cemetery

Northeast Alabama–Dekalb County on AL Hwy 117 @ County Road 729 on
Sand Mountain.  The cemetery is approximately four miles from I-59 at Hwy exit 117 North  and approximately four miles South of Ider, AL, and in the Henagar, AL 35978 mail district.
